as the
site for a new manufacturing and warehouse/distribution facility.
Tom Sutherland said
some of the advantages to locating in Miami included the proximity to markets,
labor
force and incentives offered by the State of Oklahoma.

Love Box Company announced plans
to begin a distribution and warehousing operation in Miami,
Oklahoma. The Wichita, Kansas, based manufacturer of corrugated products
will open their distribution center in May 2005 in Miami's Progress Industrial
Park.

MARINE GROUP SELECTS MIAMI, OKLAHOMA
The city of Miami and the Miami
Area Economic Development Service (MAEDS) are pleased to announce that Tracker
Marine Group, headquartered in Springfield, MO, has selected Miami, Oklahoma
as the site for a new boat manufacturing facility. The 195,000 square foot plant
is expected to be located at 3607 Maxum Marine Drive pending a tentative agreement
to purchase the existing manufacturing plant from Brunswick Corporation.
